Kropotkin's Journal entry on Ashtengruud Empty Kropotkin's Journal entry on Ashtengruud

Laid upon the ground of the current Ashtenarian Empire are the dead corpses of plenty, Genasi, Elves, Goliaths, Orcs, Human, and whatever else dwelled within the borders of the Empire. Ashtenar was a relatively tiny state but under the stern and intimidating rule of Agrethar the One-Eyed. It declared war on its surroundings very suddenly. The Empire ruthlessly took lots of land by force from the Eibe. They laid siege on the nomads of Met La’ Fiyelis and increased the bounds of its southern borders. Then two provinces from Jarakyat declared allegiance to the Empire, further expanding the country.

Twenty years ago Ashtengruud was a small state in the heart of the eastern continent, home and welcome to all races. It was the place to be to trade, until the 27th of Alemand Yield, 413. The state locked itself down for a week, and then started pillaging all around it’s borders. This resulted in the Eastern cruelty war that lasted three weeks.

As suddenly as it waged war. The Empire built walls in all the lands it has claimed and declared itself docile. Demands from the tribes and Met La’ Fiyelis to return land have been met with ignorance or empty promises. Relations with the tribes have been less than exemplary for the past twenty years but trades with Met La’ Fiyelis have been reinstated five years prior from now.

When trades between the Empire and Met La’ Fiyelis blossomed again, free reign to enter has been normalized. The land within is beautiful and wondrous. With Atfield river cutting the Empire in half. Weddidwyn lies to the east of it; The capital. You can see the watchtowers of the city from 5000 ells away! Each watchtower is considered a tourist’s delight and once inside the city’s walls, in the middle, you find the great plaza and the five fountains. Each morning people race to set up shop around the fountains, you’ll find anything and everything there.
